Basic White Rice
Who doesn’t like rice? The ultimate side dish that absorbs every sauce so perfectly!
This is a very easy recipe. Just follow the steps and you’ll be happy with the results.
1). Measure 2 cups basmati rice in an 8 oz measuring cup, rinse and let dry for 2-5 minutes.
2). Warm up 3 Tbsp oil in a pot, add the rice and salt and stir constantly until all the rice is coated and shiny. Around 1-2 minutes.
3). Add the measured boiling water. Stir, wait for some bubbles to show and cover with the pot’s exact matching lid and cook on the LOWEST AND SMALLEST flame for exactly 15 minutes.
4). After 15 minutes turn OFF the flame and leave the pot cover for another 10 minutes.
5). Open, fluff with a fork and serve.
