Who doesn’t love pasta all coated with fresh homemade pasta sauce?! It is really one of the things I almost can’t resist. Many times, however; just thinking about the process of draining the pasta and making the sauce separately gets me tired. Not to talk about the fact that time isn’t really my friend lately. So how about one-pot pasta that cooks together just in few minutes?! Not bad hah! Let’s get it going. Your kids will go crazy for it! And you will never stop making it!
1). Heat up oil in a wide and dip pot, add the oil and onions and sauté for a few minutes until translucent. Add the garlic and constantly mix for about 30 seconds.
3). Add the chopped tomato, mix for few minutes until they melt into the oil, add the spices and mix for about a minute so the spices get a chance to open with the heat. (The smell should be amazing by now!)
4). Add the tomato paste, mix for a few seconds, then the pasta, mix well, add water JUST TO THE POINT THAT THE PASTA IS COVERED. Lower the flame to the lowest possible and cook for about 8-10 minutes. Check for salt and pepper.
Serve immediately!
