For the oat mixture:
✔1/2 cup vegan milk (I used soy)
✔1/4 cup coconut oil
✔1/3 cup honey/maple syrup
✔3.5 cups old fashioned oats
Pinch of salt (optional)
For the chocolate halva spread:
✔1 cup tahini
✔1/2 cup chocolate chips
✔ chocolate chips to sprinkle on top

I really wanted something that tastes like halvah, and I knew I wanted it as easy as possible. No-bake Desserts are always the answer.
This easy treat is exactly what I needed. Keeps me full and happy. I used whole tahini here for healthier nutrition value. Fell free to use peanut butter if you wish. Let's get started!

1). Place oil, honey, milk in a large pan, heat on medium-low for about 3 minutes. Add the oats and mix. Turn off the heat and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
2). Meanwhile, prepare a 9×9 or 9×13 sheet tray and line a parchment paper.
Transfer half of the oat mixture to the bottom and flatten really well with a spatula!
3). Combine tahini and chocolate in a little bowl and place in the microwave. Melt for 30 seconds, take out, mix, and place back for about 30 seconds more until melted.
4). Pour mixture on the oats, spread evenly, then take the remaining oat mixture from the pan and sprinkle evenly on top. Add some chocolate chips to garnish, flatten with your fingers just a bit, and place in the freezer for 2 hours.
5). Remove, let sit for 10 minutes and cut into squares. Place in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. Or in the freezer for up to 3 weeks.
