Arugula is a very versatile leaf with a peppery, somewhat bitter, and tart flavor. It goes almost with everything. Sweet or savory. Many times mixed with other lettuces, and add a beautiful layer of flavor to cold or hot pasta dishes, sandwiches, and simply as it is as a salad.
