How to Keep Strawberries Last Longer In the Fridge?

Its all about the technique!

This easy step will help you save lots of money we throw in the garbage so many times!

We all love strawberries in my house. They are so pretty, healthy, and delicious.  But we do know the can go bad really quickly if we didn’t finish them fast.

So here is what I do to keep them for at least 5 days:

As soon as I come home with my fresh strawberries I fill up a bowl with lots of water.  I add 1/2 a cup vinegar (preferably organic apple cider one) and let them soak for 5 minutes. This action does not only cleans them up from any dirt they might have but also protects them from going bad fast.

Then, I throw the dirty soaking water and wash them really well with clean water. I put them on a clean paper towel to dry.

Now here is what keeps them really good.  It is simply to store the clean strawberries in a Pyrex glass container. Cover and close with a lead and place in your fridge fruit drawer.  I do the same for blueberries and grapes. You’ll be amazed to see how much dirt is in the soaking water.

Enjoy your fruits daily! Strawberries are full of vitamin C and antioxidants to boost and maintain a strong immune system!
