If you are looking for a sweet and healthy snack you must try these ones! Very easy to make, very basic ingredients, gluten free, and yes these are also good for you and for your kids.
1). Toast sesame seeds until golden brown and place in a bowl along with the rice crispies.
3). Carefully pour the honey mixture into the rice crispies and sesame bowl and immediately mix well with a large wooden spoon. Not with your hands. This can cause a severe burn!!! (Add the hemp seeds if you wish)
4). Transfer to a large tray lined with parchment paper and start pushing it down as even as possible. Eventually take a rolling pin, wet it with some water and flatten the mixture until even.
5). Score vertical and horizontal lines to an even bars and freeze for 2 hours. Transfer to a freezing tray/ dish, cover well and keep frozen.
Note: they are best eaten after 1-2 minutes after taking out from the freezer.
