). Place the dry couscous, oil, salt and pepper in a bowl. Mix with a fork OR WITH YOUR HANDS and add the boiling water, and stir for a second.
2). Cover very well with a lid or plate and let sit for 5 minutes.
3). Remove the cover and fluff with a fork until all the grains are airy and fluffy. (Garnish with some fresh parsley if you'd like)
Note: Some brands might require more than 1 cup of liquid per 1 cup of dry couscous. It's always good to read package instructions.
