Chicken With Wine and Mushrooms

Whenever I have mushrooms in my fridge I know I would be making this chicken. This is one of my fastest and easiest baked chicken recipes.  No one can tell it took 10 minutes to prep since the wine flavor with the mushrooms is so rich and deep.  I love serving it with something to absorb the amazing sauce, like mashed potatoes or rice.  Don’t forget to tell me how it came out!!!

Instructions

1). Place the chicken thighs on a baking sheet.  Cover with the diced onions and mushrooms. Sprinkle the onion powder, salt and pepper; pour the wine and drizzle the olive oil.

 

2). Cover very well with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated 450 F oven for 50 minutes.

 

3). Remove cover and with a spoon drizzle some of the sauce over the chicken. Continue baking uncovered for another 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
