Basic Overnight Oats


1). In a jar or bowl combine the chia seeds with the oats,  mix well, add the milk and mix EMMIDIATLY for a minute or so! Then add the maple, and vanilla, and mix very well.

2). Cover with a lid and place in the fridge for 6-8 hours.

3). In the morning, fill up a cup and enjoy with some more fruits on top. Or with our Homemade blueberry jelly.

Blueberry jelly and jam

  • 2 cups frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds

To a saucepan add the blueberries and starch and bring to a boil. Mash them up with a spoon while stirring occasionally. Once bubbling, add the water and syrup and continue cooking for 5 minutes more. Remove from the heat and transfer half of the mixture to a jar—labeled as JELLY. To the remaining half in the pan, add the chia seeds and mix very well. Transfer to another jar and label as JAM.
