Rosh Hashanah is all about new beginnings.. I believe that the kitchen is such a big part of our lives, our family, our children, our body, mental state and so much more! If only we could take a moment to sit down and think about the tremendous amount of time we spend in the kitchen each day we will realize that it would be so amazing if we take this VERY valuable time and utilize it to create a healthier menu/ plan not only for Rosh Hashanah, but for this upcoming new year as a whole. Each day, each week each month, our life will eventually change for the better. As you may already know, I have transformed my delicious middle- eastern / Moroccan cooking background into a plant-based, vegan lifestyle. Still delicious, just way healthier! That means that my weekly menu has no animal products at all! When it comes to Shabbat and holidays I do make regular food, but I always add new fresh detoxing salads and sides so that the guests can enjoy healthier choices as well.
